Intellectual Journal of Energy Harvesting and Storage (EHS), ISSN 2963-6272is an open access, peer-reviewed international journal that publishes original research articles, review papers, and short communications that contribute significant scientific insights and advance ongoing research and innovation in energy harvesting, energy conversion, and energy storage. The journal welcomes contributions covering a broad range of topics, with particular emphasis on renewable energy conversion and optimization, photovoltaic and wind energy systems, maximum power point tracking (MPPT), hybrid renewable energy systems, power electronics, converter topologies, energy management and control strategies, smart grids, microgrids, and grid integration. Its scope also encompasses energy harvesting mechanisms and applications, including piezoelectric, triboelectric, pyroelectric, thermoelectric, electromagnetic, radio-frequency (RF), and photovoltaic technologies; hybrid and multi-source energy harvesting; vibration, thermal, flow, and mechanical energy harvesting; and self-powered devices and sensors for the Internet of Things (IoT), wireless sensor networks (WSNs), and wearable electronics. In energy storage, the journal covers electrochemical, mechanical, thermal, and hydrogen-based storage technologies, including lithium-ion, sodium-ion, solid-state, and flow batteries, supercapacitors, flywheel energy storage, hybrid battery–supercapacitor systems, battery management systems (BMS), and hybrid energy storage systems (HESS).
The journal further encourages innovative research on artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning applications in energy systems, intelligent energy management, advanced control and optimization algorithms, emerging energy materials, advanced device architectures, integrated energy harvesting and storage systems, decentralized and grid-scale storage, energy system digitalization, techno-economic analysis, life-cycle assessment, and sustainable energy solutions. Research addressing system performance, efficiency, reliability, scalability, and innovative business and operational models is also welcome. All manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure originality, scientific quality, timeliness, relevance, and readability. First published in 2023, EHS was initially published biannually, with two issues released each year in June and December. Starting in 2027, the journal will adopt a triannual publication schedule, with three issues published annually in April, August, and December.
